All emails sent from your account, including confirmation emails and reminder emails, will be sent using our default email address.
To use your own custom email address, select "Settings" and then "Emails & Messaging" from the main navigation. Click "General Email Settings" in the settings menu on the left.
Select "Use custom from email address" in the email options selections.
Note: We cannot always guarantee that emails will be delivered to a customer’s inbox, and may end up in their junk/spam folders. To improve chances of emails being delivered into a customer’s inbox, please give Resova permission to send emails from your email provider.
To give permission for Resova to send emails on your behalf when using your own domain name, please add the following 'txt record' to your DNS:
"v=spf1 include:mail.resova.com ?all"
If you are using a custom 'from email' address, please ensure that Resova is allowed to send emails on your behalf with your chosen email address. DMARC policies restrict Resova from sending emails on behalf of the following email clients:
- Google (@gmail.com)
- Hotmail (@hotmail.com, @live.com, @msn.com, @outlook.com)
- Yahoo (@yahoo.com)
To use a custom 'from email' address, we recommend you use your own domain name extension such as "info@mycompany.com" or "bookings@tourcompany.com".
If you cannot provide one of these emails, please use the default option we provide. Following these instructions will improve deliverability to customers inboxes and not their junk/spam folders.
