Activate waivers for both customers and participants to sign, during or after the booking process. We recommend you understand how waivers work before setting them up.
Note: Waivers are only available on our Pro and Premium plans. See all pricing plans that Resova has to offer.
To set up waivers, select "Settings" and then "General Settings" from the main navigation. Select "Waivers" in the settings menu on the left.
Activating and deactivating waivers on Resova
On the settings page, click the "Status" button in the top right-hand corner. Change the status to "Activate Waivers" or "Deactivate Waivers".
Managing waiver settings for both customers and participants
On the settings page, waiver options for both customers and participants are available. Decide if customers must sign the waiver to complete a booking, or if the customer can sign after they have completed a booking (recommended to reduce the booking process).
If customers or participants are not required to sign a waiver during the checkout process, a link will be provided to sign the waiver from the:
- checkout completed page (customer waivers only)
- confirmation email (customer and participant waivers)
- waiver request email (sent to participants if their emails are recorded)
View our guide on activating and managing waiver request emails. Additional settings for primary customers to sign a waiver from their confirmation email can be found in the confirmation email settings.
Customers and participants can also sign waivers on-site. View our help guide on accepting waivers on-site, and assigning them to customers or participants.
Note: Waivers for participants will only be available if you have configured and requested information for participants.
Managing and editing waiver content
To add and manage the content in waivers, from the waiver settings page, select the "Waiver Content" tab.
